Something of an institution in the vibrant Raval district, Bar Mendizál offers fresh food and drinks from its colourful pavement-side stall. Built into the corner of the animated Junta de Comerç, just a short walk from Las Ramblas, the imaginative little vendor sells much more than just street food.

A mix of innovatively flavoured bocadillos, served with exotic fruit juices, bring together a healthy array of fresh ingredients from the nearby Mercat de la Boqueria. Grab your food, or maybe just a beer, and take your place at the bar or across the street on the designated terrace and watch the droves of residents and tourists drift through until the wee hours.
