The cherished Plaça del Sol entertains visitors to its most popular establishment, Café del sol, all through the day. The cafe is a firm little favourite amongst the local, young, Catalan arts scene, which thrives so well in the attractive Gracia neighbourhood.

The large terrace on the Plaça is usually teeming with visitors on warm afternoons. Here you will find a young crowd of students and expacts mingling and keeping proceedings alive until the early hours. Inside, the atmosphere is relaxed and open with guest DJs occasionally playing to the animated crowd. Drinks are reasonably priced and tapas is cheap and speedy. Regularly changing artwork is displayed on the walls of the small but vibrant little cafe.
