The CCCB (Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona) is the ultimate arts centre: gallery, cinema, venue, performance space, library, media centre.  Depending on what`s going on within these swelling walls at any particular time, the CCCB can slickly morph into any, or all, of the above, whilst maintaining an incredibly high standard of presentation.

Situated just behind the MACBA, CCCB acts as a kind of hyperactive little cousin, out to get everyone involved in something or other, with a frenzy and enthusiasm seldom seen.  It plays host to a wide range of annual international events including The World Press Photography Exhibition, Sonar and Docupolis Documentary Festival to name but a few.  And then there’s maybe two or three smaller exhibitions or music and dance festivals going on as well, like a never ending conga of really good things, nimbly making its way through the doors, all year round.
