How every jazz club should be: dark, dingy, crowded and smoky, Jazz Si does not disappoint. The only thing that lets its name down is its tendency to branch out beyond solely jazz, extending its arms to musicians and bands from a variety of backgrounds.

The actual club is part of a larger organisation encompassing its very own school of music, producing a pool of talent from which Jazz Si can pluck acts at will. Inside the club, the small space is encircled by a neat, exposed brickwork wall adding to the jazz club atmosphere and lending the whole place some genuine charm. It is recommended to arrive early if you want a comfortable spot to enjoy the music from and avoid the congestion at the bar.  You may have to pay a cover charge at the door which varies according to the act but usually includes a free drink.
