Self professed ‘best known secret of Barceloneta’, Ké bar attracts a healthy crowd of locals and expats boozing together in a friendly environment. Run like an English pub, but with a distinctly local and bohemian touch, the narrow little bar has a cosy feel. With a number of cocktails on offer and a back-bar peppered with spirits, things can get pretty fiery as the place fills up and drinkers revel into the early hours.

Perch yourself at the bar or on one of the few cushioned beer kegs surrounding the small tables and gaze out onto the expansive Plaça Poeta Bosca. Either way, be prepared to prize yourself away from this homely little oasis once you’re onto your third bloody mary.
