La Caseta is one of Barcelona’s best kept secrets. This is mainly because it’s located at Mirador del Migdia on top of Montjuic and can be a little tricky to spot. Besides the exceptional views out over the sea, port and mountain itself, it’s a well worth adventure, whether for a light lunch on the bbq or to watch sunset over the city.

The bar is a magical haven and fairly tranquil; its hidden location means that there are never enough ramblers to fill the deck chairs that surround the picturesque hillside. Only open during the summer months, take advantage of its privileged position to eat, drink and relax up with the pines trees. To find it, follow the Camí del Mar footpath south around the castle, and if you do get lost, don’t worry you can call Marc for directions.
