A welcomed watering hole in the heart of high held Montjuic. Sat between the Miró and ethnological museums, and surrounded by nature in all its elements, find a sunny spot in the garden-like terrace. Font Del Gat is attraction in itself, and for a small informal cafe, it has a surprisingly high class menu. Ravioli with truffles and wild mushrooms or foie gras with Modena caramel for example. Many people trek the scenic mountain in order to make the more modestly priced menu of the day.

Start with scrambled egg with Catalan sausage and peppers, follow it with baked cod or chicken with pine nuts and basil and if you still have room finish with a simple desert of yoghurt and berries. Afterward struggle back down the mountain and stop at the Cat Fountain the restaurant is named after.
