The MACBA (Museu d`Art Contemporani Barcelona) is the epicentre for Contemporary Art in Barcelona, boasting a large international collection from the past 80 years.  As an institution, it emphasises accessibility as well as diversity, whilst at the same time not dumbing things down.  A wide range of events (including sections of the annual Sonar festival) take place here and exhibitions change every two months or so.
