Marula Café Barcelona is one of a pair that unites the Catalan Capital with Madrid through the common language of funk, soul and rare grooves. A relatively young club on the scene, Marula seems impressively established with a solid rotation of DJs and bands frequenting the spot and drawing the crowds.

The club is neat inside, with an entrance through some rather grand, heavy drapes taking you straight into the venue alongside the well stocked bar. With a stage at the end and a DJ booth in the middle the space adapts well to the ever changing range of different acts and club nights. Tucked in Gotico, close to the infamous Placa Tripi, there are plenty of options for a quick warm up cocktail or after hours beer in the area.
