Mercat del Encants is Barcelona’s largest flea market. Bargain hunters and antiques dealers have been flocking to this bustling market for years, navigating their way through the endless rows of jumble. Everything from used Mega Drives and knock-off fetish porn to New Kids on the Block sweaters and retro sunglasses lie strewn across the plaza. It’s just a matter of locating what you want and fighting for your price. The market is especially busy on Saturdays so arrive early if you can, just watch your wallet and be prepared to go in for what you’re looking for and come out with a set of 19th century miniature cars, a rusted bicycle and a broken Phil Collins record.
