Otto Zutz began as a revolutionary idea back in 1985, in a former textile factory. The idea was to create a high rising, New York style warehouse club to change the way in which people went out. Over time the club has evolved into a five room massacre, sprawled down countless corridors and lining several floors. The recent VIP section is a hit with the cool kids, who forget their friends on the dance floor amongst some careful decoration and long asymmetric circular sofas. The other rooms occupy a less vigilant crowd, where night goers get down to a mix of up-to-the-minute beats in mainstream fashion.

Slightly out of the centre of Barcelona, Otto Zutz is worth it, especially if you can find one of their gold cards splurged around the city in various bars, cafes and restaurants which entitle you to free access any day of the week.
