A monthly food fair in the proudly Catalan neighbourhood of Poble Nou draws rich delights from around the region onto the narrow, central Rambla. Fine examples of all sorts of local produce from typical Catalan dried meats to quality wines can be found on the first Sunday of every month along with a crowd of eager locals swarming over their monthly treats.

Starting from the top of the Rambla, it’s a gentle amble down to the sea past the numerous stalls and the rich tapestry of goods on offer. Take your time and enjoy a neighbourhood which has seen a dramatic transformation in the past 20 years or so, from a rough industrial quarter to a dignified up-and-coming area.
