Privacy Information

At La Boca we understand the importance of private information.  We try to ensure that the details of our users, the businesses that we promote and the information that we display is at the full discretion of its rightful owner/s.

Users

We store the basic contact information of our users who register with us and their personal preferences according to their individually constructed profiles. We retain the information exclusively for the users benefit and do not pass on any information to third parties.  Users will receive newsletters which are optional and include shared public information in the form of site updates. Users’ activity on our site is tracked but again, the information is logged for their benefit and not for that of any third party organisation.

Businesses

All the information published on La Boca about the businesses and organisations that we promote is collected by our team of researchers and published at our editors’ discretion. This information includes details of institutions open to the public for their own benefit and that of our users. If you are the owner of an organisation on the site and feel you have been misrepresented or inaccurately portrayed, then you have the right to review any part of your profile by contacting us here.  Finally, we have done our upmost to get permission for all images, photographs used on the site.  However, if you feel your image has been used without the necessary permission you have the right to have it removed from the site immediately by contacting us.

Us

The information found on our posts and reviews are an expression of our own opinions and, therefore, we reserve their intellectual property in their entirety. This very same right is also reserved for the photos we display which are gathered from our photography team.  We are a small private organisation run by a team of voluntary contributors for the benefit of our users and the businesses we choose to promote. We do our best to ensure all published content is accurate and objective and we are confident that we protect the interests of all beneficiaries as best we can.
