Teatre Antic is a tireless little community project, attracting local and touring groups to their stage at the end of the sizable, improvised theatre. Punters can choose from a number of shows which usually run no more than a week, as well as the odd night of music and big party thrown across the impressive courtyard on special occasions.

The bar is open to the public and serves very reasonably priced drinks considering its central location and close proximity to the Palau de Música. The huge courtyard isn’t exactly glamorous but is packed with tables in the warm afternoons, providing an ideal place for a cold beer or two under the leafy shade of trees. All proceeds from the bar and theatre go to running the various performing arts projects and keeping the space alive for the benefit of the local community.
